TALKING LOUD--Steve Wynn and the Miracle 3 Recorded at KDVS (Davis, California) on March 9, 2005 Steve Wynn--guitar, vocals Jason Victor--guitar Dave DeCastro--bass Linda Pitmon--drums/vocals I hadn't played this song since 1979 when I recorded it for the A-side of the only single with my college new wave band Suspects (based in Davis, hence the decision to play it on this particular day). Kendra Smith was the singer of the band but I did my best to remember the words. thanks to Jeff Regan for supplying the mp3 and to Suzy Brennan for having the original 7" so we could learn the song

Bitch Pants Bitch Pants
The lone outtake from "Here Come the Miracles." I was trying to convince my skeptical bandmates about a special clothing made for dogs in heat. I decided I hate to make up a song on the spot for extra evidence. Judging by their emphatic musical response, Dave and Linda apparently ended up believing me. Recorded in 2000.
Bruises Bruises
"So where do you want to do this thing?" I ask Wynn. As in, "Which of these many, many park benches would you like to perform on, under, in front of, or next to?" Because Riverside Park was Steve's idea. "The dog run," he says. "Over by the dog run?" "No, in the dog run," he says. Which is just about the best idea I've heard in weeks.
